Rebekah's Angels Foundation

Rebekah’s Angels Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by Rebekah Gregory, a survivor of the Boston Marathon bombing, with the mission to support individuals and families affected by trauma.

Rebekah’s life changed forever on April 15, 2013, when she was severely injured in the bombing while shielding her young son, Noah, from the blast. Her heroic act of protecting her child resulted in life-altering injuries, but it also sparked her journey of healing and helping others.

After the bombing, Rebekah’s focus was not only on her own recovery but also on how to help her son cope with the trauma he had experienced. This search for resources to help Noah led her to realize how many other families were struggling with their own traumatic circumstances, often without the support they desperately needed. This realization became the catalyst for Rebekah’s Angels Foundation.

The foundation provides funding for trauma therapy, counseling, and essential resources to help survivors and their families heal. By offering financial assistance for therapy, as well as connecting individuals to resources and a community of support, Rebekah’s Angels seeks to make a profound difference in the lives of those who have been affected by violence, tragedy, and trauma. Through Rebekah’s personal story of resilience, the foundation works to ensure that no one faces the difficult journey of recovery alone.

Finally a united group that will be the host our local Scottish Highland Games!! Many of us are looking forward to the inaugural event that will be held on Saturday Feb 10th at the Manatee County Fairgrounds in Palmetto FL. A much larger venue than the Sarasota Fairgrounds!! I understand there will be a pipe band competition and a challenge between the Manatee County Sheriff's office and the EMT's in the actual Highland Games competition. See you in February!!

Once a PACE girl, always a PACE girl. Being part of PACE Center for Girls' first graduating class was transformative. PACE provided unwavering support during challenging times, boosting my confidence and helping me discover my true potential. The staff's personalized attention and encouragement were instrumental in overcoming obstacles and achieving academic success. PACE is more than an institution; it's a caring community that goes beyond academics. Thank you, PACE Center for Girls, for making a profound difference in my life.
