Bradenton Events Calendar 2026

Covering Manatee County · Since 2019

Bradenton's most-used local event calendar

Discover Bradenton started in 2019 with one simple goal: give locals and visitors a reliable place to find out what's happening this weekend. Whether you're looking for a sunset concert at Riverwalk, a craft fair in downtown Bradenton, or a family-friendly festival on Anna Maria Island, you'll find it here, without sorting through outdated listings from sites that stopped paying attention years ago.

What's on the calendar right now

More than 200 events are live on the calendar, and they don't spread evenly across the week. Saturday carries more than double what you'll find on a Wednesday. Tuesday and Thursday fill in next, mostly library programs during the day and theater at night. Monday is thin. So if you're planning a weekend and want options, Friday and Saturday are where the music, the markets, and the festivals land.

Live music most nights of the week

The Freckled Fin Irish Pub on Anna Maria Island books more shows than any other venue here by a wide margin. It's the single biggest source of live music on the calendar, and most of it is free to walk into. Flamingo Bay Brewing Co. on 14th Street West keeps a steady schedule closer to downtown. Loaded Cannon Distillery on Lakewood Ranch Boulevard runs an open mic every Sunday at 3 p.m., which is the easiest low-commitment way to hear local players if you've never been to one.

Theater, and what's running this season

Manatee Performing Arts Center has the deepest season in the county. This year's schedule includes Arsenic and Old Lace, Carrie: The Musical, Dear Evan Hansen, and Anastasia, with most weeknight curtains at 7:30 p.m. Urbanite Theatre sits just over the county line in Sarasota and runs the Modern Works Festival, which we list because it's worth the twenty-minute drive.

Free things to do with kids

The county library branches are the quiet workhorse of this calendar. They run programming nearly every weekday and none of it costs anything. Baby and toddler storytimes run at Lakewood Ranch. Palmetto Branch has family storytime plus a ukulele jam for beginners. Manatee Central runs sensory play mornings and a drop-in clinic on Tuesdays for anyone trying to figure out their 3D printer. Ask a Master Gardener sets up Saturday mornings at both Central and Palmetto, and South Manatee holds ESL classes on Monday evenings. If you have a toddler and a Tuesday to fill, the library is the answer more often than not.

The area we cover
