In celebration of The Bishop’s Year of Engineering, join us for an all-ages outdoor festival of building, creating, testing, and problem-solving!
Make whatever your imagination desires in a pop-up adventure playground featuring an abundance of “loose parts,” open-ended items like cardboard boxes, buckets, crates, and other interesting materials with Rooted in Play. Create and test spaces that can be navigated by people with vision loss with Lighthouse Vision Loss Education Center. Design floating vehicles and explore the skills of amazing animal engineers. Families can work together to let their creativity shine with planning materials, building materials of all kinds, science tools, and inspiring information about how humans and animals solve problems in their daily lives!
This event will take place in The Bishop’s fenced-in Riverside Plaza. Please check in and enter through the gate to the left of the Museum’s front doors. Museum admission is not included. Parking is available for free on the street or in the public parking garage across the street.
