Our program is an intensive and unique approach that helps couples turn their relationship around and avoid the possibility of divorce. With over thirty years of experience in working with married couples, our program creator, Teresa Thomas, has designed an innovative program through XO Marriage, one of the largest worldwide ministries led by Pastor Jimmy Evans. Marriage Mediation provides ministerial marriage coaching to help you and your spouse restore your relationship. Accelerated resolution therapy (ART) is an approach that can produce dramatic improvements in a variety of emotional and mental distresses in just a few sessions. The treatment is comprised of a directive protocol in which the provider guides the client through the therapeutic process while having him/her perform back-and-forth eye movements, augmenting healing with guidance from the therapist. This revolutionary, innovative treatment addresses common problems such as depression, anxiety, worry, phobias, addictions, abuse, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), relationship difficulties, any bothersome memories, OCD, grief, and learning/thinking issues.. An encouraging part of A.R.T. is that it can often be done in a one hour session and up to five sessions, depending on the severity of the issue and the number of themes they may come in with as a result of past traumas. Furthermore sharing details of the trauma is optional and positive closure is always the goal in each session. The client maintains control while the facilitator skillfully guides the process. We are each uniquely born with tendency traits that guide our responses to life situations. The Arno Profile System (APS) tests our temperament, revealing our inborn strengths and weaknesses and a greater understanding of “why” you do what you do. This test is a snapshot providing clues to those areas of your life that may need growth. Finding those areas and then finding ways to satisfy your needs in healthy ways is the goal. I am so grateful to have met Anita through Discover Bradenton. I’ve went to her several times for some issues I was having and her guidance and suggestions have had a huge impact. I adore her!
I wasn’t sure if ART was for me, because I couldn’t think of a specific tramatic event that I continued to relive and needed relief from. I scheduled the appointment because there is an area of my life where I feel stuck and despite the focused work I’ve done to get unstuck, it wasn’t happening.
Knowing this, Anita guided me with questions to help me get to the root of the issue and using ART, I was able to erase and rewrite parts of my story to heal confusion and past pain.
I was surprised with the events that surfaced during our session AND how quickly I could look at them with compassion and understanding and feel relief.
