The Ultimate Beach Party: 5th Annual Beach’N Food Truck & Music Festival is Coming Back to Anna Maria Island

One of our favorite Anna Maria Island events is returning this year! Here's what you need to know about the 5th annual Beach'N Food Truck Festival.

Anna Maria Island’s Annual Beach’N Food Truck and Music Festival is back! This is going to be a FUNtastic Festival filled with music, food, arts and crafts, a classic car display, and more. The festival will be held on Saturday, May 1st at Holmes Beach City Field on Anna Maria Island. Note that this is a new location. The event is typically celebrated on Coquina Beach, but due to the construction of their parking lot, it has been moved for this year.

A Full Day of Family Fun!

This FREE event runs from 10 am to 8 pm, offering a whole day of fun! It will be held rain or shine and there will be live music all day. The Classic Car Display will take place between 10 am and 3 pm and there will also be privateers offering children’s activities to keep your little ones busy.

Food trucks will be lined up with a variety of tasty treats. Beer and wine will also be available. You’re welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets so you can enjoy live music while feasting on a variety of foods and drinks. The festival will also be hosting an arts and crafts fair, where you’ll find vendors selling jewelry, gifts, and more.

The live music lineup includes:

  • Chuck Caudill from 11 am-12:30 pm
  • Memphis Rub from 1 pm-3 pm
  • Jack’D Up from 3:30 pm-5:30 pm
  • The Dr. Dave Band: 6 pm-8 pm.

Getting There: What You Need to Know

Parking on the island is often a challenge, so we recommend taking advantage of the dedicated trolley. Parking is available at Crosspointe Fellowship Church (8605 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach) and Manatee Public Beach. The trolly will run from each of these locations to the festival area and back. Overflow parking is also available at Hancock Whitney Bank (5324 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach), which is a couple of blocks away from the festival.

To help ensure everyone’s safety, the event will follow strict COVID-19 protocols. Wearing of masks is encouraged unless you are eating or drinking, and hand sanitizers will be provided at each vendor booth. You’re also encouraged to practice social distancing while enjoying the day.

With free admission, this will be a day filled with tons of fun for everyone. While the event is free, you’ll still want to make sure to bring cash for the food, drinks, and shopping. All proceeds from the event will go to support the Anna Maria Island Scholarship fund.

We could all use a vacation away from the stress of everyday life, so pack up the family and come out to enjoy the beach, sun, and fresh air!
