It’s time to get excited – the Lucky Ducky Race for Pace is back!
During this 13th annual fundraiser for Pace Center for Girls Manatee, you’ll have the chance to watch as volunteers dump 30,000+ rubber ducks into the Manatee River so they can “race” to the finish line. The person lucky enough to “adopt” the ducks that cross the line first will win some incredible prizes, so don’t miss your chance to join in on the fun!
You can drive home in a Jeep from Firkins Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram (2-year lease or $5,000)! 2nd Place is just as fun… WEEKLY dinner for 2 from Anna Maria Oyster Bar for a FULL YEAR! More prizes are available, but the best prize of all is that you will be helping Pace Find the Great in Every Girl!
Adopt Your Duck Today
Adoption season is officially open, and you can participate for as little as $5.00. That’s right! A single “Lonely Duck” costs just five bucks – but rumor has it that ducks travel faster in packs. Increase your chances of winning by purchasing a “Quack Pack” of 5 ducks for $20 or a “Flock” of 30 ducks for $100.
While this might seem like all fun and games, it’s actually more than that. When you adopt a duck, you’re helping a girl.
Adopt a Lonely Duck and you’ll provide a Pace girl with the essential supplies to support her academic success. A Quack Pack covers the cost of a one-month MCAT bus pass, allowing a Pace girl to get to and from school.
Want to do more? A Flock of Ducks provides a girl and her family with an initial counseling and goal-setting session, helping to create hope for her future.

The Very Important Duck (V.I.D) is also back this year! For $350, you’ll receive a Corporate Duck with your logo that you can decorate and enter in the “Best Dressed Duck Competition.” You’ll also receive 100 ducks for the Lucky Ducky Race for Pace, which you can keep for yourself or give away to customers, family, or friends!

The Lucky Ducky Race for Pace is scheduled for Saturday, June 11th. It will be a fully public event and will also be live-streamed so you can watch the excitement from wherever you happen to be.
