SWAT Networking: Where Women Entrepreneurs Grow Stronger Together

Are you a female entrepreneur looking for a supportive group where you can network, build relationships, and grow your business? If so, then Successful Women Aligning Together (SWAT Networking) is for you! This dynamic professional networking group offers a unique platform for women to connect on a professional and personal level. With meeting locations in Bradenton, Sarasota, and Lakewood Ranch, this inclusive and welcoming group is open to women of all ages and in all industries.

SWAT Networking was initially launched in 2010 as a way for local businesswomen to get together, promote their businesses, and discuss the challenges they were facing.

Over the years, the group became well-known for their networking events and eventually grew to multiple chapters across the area.

In 2020, as the group celebrated its 10th anniversary amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, SWAT got new management—and a new outlook—on doing business in a completely changed world.

Today, Executive Director Lisa Comeau is working on expanding SWAT’s offerings for its members and is focused on creating a friendly, welcoming environment where all members truly embrace the sisterhood. From sage business advice to a shoulder to lean on in tough times, SWAT Sisters know they can count on one another.

What Makes SWAT Networking Different?

While there are plenty of networking groups in the area, there are several things that set SWAT apart from the rest. This group doesn’t just create connections, it also fosters genuine bonds and deep-rooted relationships.

Women-Centric Focus

At SWAT Networking, the emphasis is solely on women. This creates a unique and nurturing environment where members can share experiences, challenges, and triumphs that are unique to women in the business world.

Building Genuine Relationships

It’s not just about swapping business cards. At SWAT, the goal is to truly understand each member and get to know each other on a personal level. This helps in building relationships that go beyond mere business transactions. When a SWAT sister recommends another, it’s backed by trust and a deep understanding of the other’s capabilities.

Diverse Opportunities for Learning and Growth

Beyond the regular networking events, SWAT also offers a range of opportunities for personal and professional growth. From educational talks to roundtable discussions, members are encouraged to continually evolve and adapt in today’s ever-changing business landscape.

Community Involvement

SWAT isn’t just focused on business. The group actively encourages its members to give back to the community. From supporting local charities to lending a hand in community events, SWAT Sisters are always there to make a difference.

Flexibility in Participation

With meetings in multiple locations including Bradenton, Sarasota, and Lakewood Ranch, members have the flexibility to join events that best fit their schedules and locations. There are no mandatory attendance requirements and no requirements to pass referrals. You’re welcome to network when and where you want and give referrals when it works for you.

Extensive Member Perks

In addition to member rates for the monthly meetings, SWAT members also receive a wide range of benefits including:

  • Profile listing in the online directory, including links to your business website and social media channels
