In honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, The Inaugural HOPE in Motion Challenge will begin on October 1st and run through the entire month of October. You can participate in this virtual event from anywhere, individually, or as part of a team. All you have to do is move — whether by walking, running, jogging, biking, doing yoga, or even just strolling with your dog.

The official Oktoberfest in Munich might be canceled, but you can still enjoy a bit of German heritage right here in Bradenton! Manatee County Parks is celebrating its 18th Annual Goblin Gathering at G.T. Bray Park.

This year’s Goblin Gathering will be a drive-through only event. Please enter at 51st Street and exit at 59th Street. Drive-through participation and trick-or-treating are both free. Several local businesses will be participating by passing out “treats & sweets” to participants, providing a safe alternative for children to trick-or-treat.
