Florida Maritime Museum: Christmas in Cortez

The Florida Maritime Museum (FMM), a part of the Manatee County Clerk’s Historical Resources Department, in partnership with Manatee County and the Friends of the Florida Maritime Museum, is excited to host a brand new holiday festival, Christmas in Cortez. This FREE family-friendly event will be held on Saturday, December 4th, from 10 AM – 2 PM.

This outdoor festival will take place on museum grounds and will feature a variety of free entertainment, including carnival-style and lawn games, a snow slide, and photo opportunities with Santa. Local non-profits and community organizations will have interactive booths on-site, where visitors can enjoy additional free crafts, games, and fun demonstrations. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on-site and will be provided by local businesses.
