Event Details
Come to Mineral Springs Park at Riverwalk East (1312 2nd Ave. East) for this cultural & heritage festival. The event brings awareness of the Angola Maroon community of free Blacks and Seminole Indians who resided at the Manatee River, circa 1812-1821, especially at Manatee Springs. The event will feature demonstrations of traditional craftsmanship, a panel discussion, oral history, music, and food.
