Critique Corner with Janet Flickinger & Dawn Gerardot

Our Second Critique Corner on September 28th, was an enriching experience for everyone involved!

Our good-sized group, mostly return attendees, participated in a lively discussion and got their issues/questions answered and leff with positive responses on our presentation and approach.

Come SIT & SIP and join the fun at Island Gallery & Studios for these free interactive discussion sessions on what makes a good piece of art. Learn to critique your own work by learning how to analyze it using extremely basic design principles.

So, if you are stuck in your current painting or having trouble deciding whether it’s finished, come join us as we introduce you to Critique Corner. We invite you to come and just listen or bring your paintings for analysis and we’ll help you work through the issues. It’s a wonderful learning experience and interesting conversation full of sharing, insight and inspiration. Each session will address different issues, so come to one session or all for something a little different each time. Take advantage of this opportunity to add to your ART bucket. See you there!
