Data Dump: Electronics Recycling Event at Manatee Technical College

SouthTech regularly hosts an electronics recycling event in partnership with the various business associations located on the Suncoast.

Twice a year, SouthTech invites you to bring your old, outdated electronics to be recycled (at no charge to you!) in a swift and secure manner. When we say electronics, we mean things like desk phones, mobile phones, monitors, computers, printers, copiers, and keyboards.

There is a small list of devices that we cannot accept due to expenses incurred by the recycling process: a good example is old televisions. Old televisions tend to have harmful materials on the inside, and they require special care to dismantle safely.
