The Kingfisher painting is created on an 8 x 8 canvas in acrylic paints. This is a basic beginner’s class — no previous experience is necessary. You will you receive step by step instruction, and all supplies are included. This is a no-stress, drama-free, relaxed paced class in which you will learn several painting techniques.
This is a great class for those looking to explore their creative side without having to make a big investment in art supplies.
Acrylics are permanent when dry, so please feel free to ‘dress down’ and bring an apron so you won’t have to worry if you get paint on your clothing. The Carriage House Studio provides plenty of paper towels for cleaning up.
ALL SUPPLIES ARE PROVIDED. Just bring yourself and your enthusiasm for learning a new creative skill and making beautiful art.
This is a 5-hour class that runs from 10am to 3pm with a half-hour break for lunch. Bring a sandwich or snack. The Carriage House Studio provides beverages for your enjoyment throughout the class including bottled water, several varieties of coffee, hot tea, and hot chocolate.
