Manatee Village Historical Park Supervisor Krystin Miner will present “Transformative Mourning: How the Civil War Changed Mourning” on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.
This lecture explores how the high casualty rates during the American Civil War changed ritual mourning practices across the country.
Lectures are held in the Wiggins Store Conference Room starting at 3 p.m. Admission is free. Seating is limited, a first come first served basis.
