The Humane Society of Manatee County is proud to bring the return of Paws in Motion Walk-a-thon & Festival to a new location, Rossi Park, on the Bradenton Riverwalk. From 8 am-12 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024, this family and pet-friendly fundraiser will bring a one-mile walk and an abundance of activities such as a dog lure course, Vendor Village, games, raffle prizes, great music, and more. Adoptable dogs will also be present and looking for their future homes. Individuals and fundraising teams can pre-register now by visiting the events page at www.humanemanatee.org and individuals also can register at the walk starting at 8 am on March 16th. Registration and event activities start at 8 am with the walk, a leisurely one-mile stroll along the Manatee River, beginning at 9 am. The registration fee of $35.00 includes a loaded goody bag and a Paws in Motion 2024 T-shirt. Additional T-shirts can be purchased for $15 each. The Paws in Motion Walk-a-Thon & Festival is the Humane Society of Manatee County’s largest fundraiser of the year, where all proceeds benefit the animals in their Second Chance Adoption Center, located at 2515 14th Street West in Bradenton. Following the walk, an expanded vendor village will offer an array of great vendors and food trucks. The Humane Society of Manatee County relies on its amazing community partners to help make this event a success.
