Employers Resources Plus was founded in 2009 when it became clear that businesses needed to have affordable access to Human Resource knowledge. At the time, owner Susan Howard had 10 years of experience working in the Professional Employer Organization (PEO) and Administrative Services Organization (ASO) fields. Susan obtained her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute 2004 and her Society for Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) in 2015.
With vast experience and employment knowledge in industries like manufacturing, construction, and hospitality, Ms. Howard realized that many businesses, both large and small, have a need for Human Resource guidance. Countless small to medium-sized companies cannot afford to have a fulltime Human Resource Professional on staff and often depend on colleagues, business owners, webinars, seminars and occasionally attorneys for guidance on labor/employment law.
