The fall season is just around the corner, and there are a ton of fun things to do in Bradenton! Check out our Top 20 round-up for the month of September.

1. North River First Friday

Friday, September 1st at 8 PM
10th Street Live: 1330 US Hwy 301, Palmetto, FL 34221

Come out for the all-new party in Palmetto happening the First Friday of every month. There will be food, vendors, and live music for all to enjoy.

Doors open at 8 pm and this month’s event will feature country rock band The 301 Travelers, DJ Rick O, and more.

Entry is free for guests 21+ and is $10 for those aged 18-20.

2. Marauders Fan Appreciation Night

Saturday, September 2nd at 5 PM

Get ready for the biggest game night of the season! During this Fan Appreciation night, you’ll have a chance to experience the largest and last fireworks show of the season and “9 Innings of Winnings”

3. Family Fun Day

Saturday, September 2nd from 9 AM to 10 AM
Palma Sola Botanical Park: 9800 17th Ave NW, Bradenton, FL

Start your day with a colorful morning hike and craft session at Palma Sola Botanical Park.

You and your child will enjoy strolling through the park’s enchanting landscapes and luscious gardens as they look around for trinkets and treasures they can use to create their own flower mosaic. The program will be partially outdoors so dress accordingly and bring your own water. Food and drinks will be able to purchase after the program. This event is recommended for ages 5 – 9, but everyone is welcome.

4. Gentle Yoga with the Manatees

9. Tribute to Heros Memorial

The Manatee County Fire Chiefs Association will be holding a heartfelt tribute to the fallen first responders of the 9/11 World Trade Center Attack at Rossi Park Pavillon. This solemn event reminds us of the resilience and unity that emerged from the tragedy.

TEDxBradenton is one of only five TEDx events in the Tampa Bay region this year and the only such event on Florida’s west coast south of the Sunshine Skyway.

During the event, local and regional voices will be addressing issues that are relevant to us, this country, and a global audience.

19. Putt Putt Pub Crawl

The annual Main Street Putt-Putt Pub Crawl, hosted by the Hernando De Soto Historical Society is always a great time!

Create a team of four and move from bar to bar with putters, golf balls, and an official scorecard, then wander (or stumble?) from bar to bar, completing all the holes.

Grand prizes are awarded to the team with the lowest score. There will also be a $250.00 cash prize for the “Best Dressed Team” as well as raffles and a 50/50.
