At the Autism and Neurodivergency Advocacy Association, we are dedicated to promoting acceptance, empowerment, and inclusion for neurodivergent individuals. Our organization was founded with a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by autistic individuals and the broader neurodivergent community. We believe in the inherent value and potential of every neurodivergent individual. Our mission is to advocate for their rights, provide support, and foster a society that celebrates neurodiversity. By challenging misconceptions and stereotypes surrounding autism and other neurodivergent conditions, we strive to create a more inclusive and understanding world. Through a range of programs and services, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of neurodivergent individuals and their families. Our offerings include job coaching, college admissions consulting, peer autism support, a monthly support group, and a legislation tracker called CAAL. Additionally, we host an annual Neurodiversity Awareness Day to raise awareness and promote understanding in our community. One of our key strengths is that our organization is led by individuals who are neurodivergent themselves. As an inclusive and representative organization, all of our volunteers and key members of the team are neurodivergent individuals. This unique aspect allows us to bring firsthand experiences, empathy, and a deep understanding of the needs of the community we serve. We welcome individuals in the Tampa and NYC area to join us in our mission. Whether you want to become a subscriber (member), volunteer, attend our events, or provide financial support, there are numerous ways to get involved. Together, we can make a meaningful difference and create a society where neurodivergent individuals are fully accepted, supported, and celebrated for their unique abilities and perspectives.
