Must be able to commit 2-4 hours a week at our Myakka City sanctuary. Pasture management duties include:
Removing manure from pastures and putting in compost area. Removing fallen branches, pinecones and raking leaves from pastures. pulling toxic weeds from animal pastures. Additionally, you may be asked to pull weeds from plant beds and surrounding areas and assisting in mulching projects as needed. Replace/Remove dead plants from habitats as needed. Assist in facility beautification projects when applicable. Applying weed and feed, and seed. Tending to plants in the garden by watering, pruning, and harvesting vegetables or fruit when ready.
